UACTP Seminar Move to Improve: Unlocking Performance Through Active Recovery
In-house athletic trainer Aaron Ngor helped our community unlock their active recovery skills this past weekend. Our “Move & Improve” series highlights the concepts, frameworks, and specific techniques Aaron uses with his everyday clients to achieve better results both in sport and in life.
Participants learned how to 1) Define active recovery for the individual, 2) Use warm-up and mobility drills as a tool for deload training sessions, and 3) Why they should target spine, hips, and shoulders during movement prep work
